Weekend freedom in Porto Winter

Day 1: / Porto

Arrival at Porto Airport. Transfer to your 3-star hotel in Porto (optional 4-star hotel in Porto). Check into your room and overnight stay.

Day 2: Porto

Breakfast at the hotel. You will receive a Transport Pass (valid for 72 hours) so you can get around on public transport. Included: Tourist train ride and visit to a wine cellar with Port wine tasting. Tips for your day trip: Explore Vila Nova de Gaia and its Serra do Pilar Monastery, where you can enjoy the best view of Porto. From there, you will see the famous view of the Dom Luis I Bridge and Cais da Ribeira. We recommend taking the Gaia cable car, which connects the upper part of the city, next to the Serra do Pilar Monastery, to the lower part, where the famous Port wine cellars are located. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 3: Porto

Tips for your day trip: Discover Avenida dos Aliados, one of the city's most iconic avenues. Explore São Bento railway station, where you can admire the magnificent azulejos tiles decorating the interior walls. Continue on to Porto Cathedral. Then, discover the sumptuous Clérigos Tower. We will continue down towards the Douro, passing by the Stock Exchange Palace. Discover St. Francis Church before arriving at the banks of the Douro River, which originates in Spain and flows harmoniously into the Atlantic Ocean in this magnificent city. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 4: Porto / France

Breakfast at the hotel. Depending on flight schedules, transfer to the airport.
