Tours

Day 1: Denver

Visit Larimer Square, the State Capitol, Four Mile Historic Park and LoDo (Lower Downtown) home to some of the city’s earliest buildings.


Day 2: Denver

Explore Garden of the Gods, known for its mesmerizing red rock formations, some reaching up to 300 feet in height.


Day 3: Cheyenne

Head to Rocky Mountain National Park. You will discover the majestic scenery of the valleys and mountains with over 60 peaks. It encompasses a diverse range of ecosystems, including high mountain peaks, alpine lakes, meadows, and forests.


Day 4: Rapid City

Visit Mount Rushmore where the heads of Presidents Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and T. Roosevelt are sculpted in the granite rock. Continue to Crazy Horse Memorial in the Black Hills, the world’s largest mountain carving still in progress.


Day 5: Rapid City

Explore Badlands National Park with its rich fossil beds and acres of sharply eroded pinnacles and spires. Bison and bighorn sheep roam one of the largest prairies in the US.


Day 6: Buffalo

Arrival in the western town of Deadwood in South Dakota known for its wild reputation in the 19th century and the final resting place of legendary figures, Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane. Discover the monolithic Devil’s Tower, a 60-million-year-old volcanic chimney rising dramatically 1,267 ft above the surrounding terrain.


Day 7: Cody

Drive through Bighorn National Forest in the Black Hills with its pine, spruce, and fir trees. Continue to Cody, a charming town known for its Old West history, where Buffalo Bill once lived.


Day 8: West Yellowstone

Visit Yellowstone, a majestic national park where you may see grizzly bears, buffalo, deer, elk and longhorn sheep. You will delight in the splendid waterfalls in the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone.


Day 9: West Yellowstone

On your tour through the park, you may see the eruption of Old Faithful, the best known of the park’s 300 geysers, along with other geological marvels like Mammoth Hot Springs and Turquoise Pool.


Day 10: Jackson

Leave for Grand Teton National Park in northwestern Wyoming. Stop at Jenny Lake and the Chapel of the Transfiguration in the historic district. Enjoy a superb view of the Teton Range that rises abruptly to tower 7,000 ft above the valley floor and frames a majestic landscape of lakes, glaciers and extensive forests.


Day 11: Salt Lake City

Explore Jackson, a typical Far West city with wood houses and cowboy bars. Continue to Salt Lake City, a city founded by the Mormons and capital of genealogy research. Visit Temple Square where you can appreciate the Mormon temple from the outside. Stop near the State Capitol, a Corinthian-style building and seat of the state of Utah’s federated government.


Day 12: Moab

Moab is the gateway to two National Parks. Start with a visit to Arches NP, famous for its massive red rock formations.


Day 13: Moab

Explore Canyonlands NP, with its mesas and buttes carved by the Green and Colorado rivers. Native American rock art can be found everywhere in Moab, as well as dinosaur tracks.


Day 14: Monument Valley

Leave for Monument Valley, where you will find yourself surrounded by dark red hills. Visit this imposing area where numerous westerns have been filmed. This 25 mile-long and 16-mile-wide desert plain overflows with gigantic sandstone monolithic structures rising high above the valley.


Day 15: Page

Page is your getaway to Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon. Continue your daily exploration with a visit of Horseshoe Bend, a canyon formed in the shape of a horseshoe by the Colorado River.


Day 16: Bryce

Bryce Canyon is one of the most fascinating natural parks of Utah. The dazzling shapes and shades of the memorable pink cliffs constantly vary from dawn to dusk.


Day 17: Las Vegas

Make a stop at Zion National Park, the oldest park in Utah; this Canyon will impress you with cathedral-shaped rocks, some of which are more than 900 meter high. There is also a great diversity of plant and animal life due to the park’s unique geography.


Day 18: Las Vegas

You will then go from the calm and serenity of the parks to the lights and extravagance of the legendary city of Las Vegas. Oasis lost in the desert of Nevada, Las Vegas is the city where luxury and entertainment are at its finest as the lights, games, glitz, and stars shine throughout the night.


Day 19: Las Vegas

End of the tour. Return the car (airport).
