Queen Elizabeth National Park: With its adequate water supply from the two lakes in the park, tourists are assured of great wildlife sightings within Queen Elizabeth National Park. Among the animals that can be found at the park include the Ugandan kob, African bush elephants, crocodiles, the African buffalo, lion, leopard and chimpanzees. The park boasts of ‘tree-climbing lions’ whose males have black manes. Other features of attraction include volcanic structures such as lakes and craters.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park: The Park is most famous for its mountain gorillas and has subsequently been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has a conservancy to protect around 340 mountain gorillas which are half of the world’s total population of the species. Other animals inhabiting the mountainous park include Colobus monkeys, elephants, chimpanzees and hornbills.
Kibale National Park: Kibale is a small park, measuring only 776 square kilometres. Its diverse elevations, ranging between 1,100 metres and 1,600 metres, means the park can become colder than expected in Africa. Being a rainforest, showers are possible at any time.
Day 1: ARRIVAL ENTEBBE – KAMPALA (45km – 1hr)
Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. If you arrive in the morning you may wish to opt for an optional visit to the Botanical Gardens and the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, both located in Entebbe (supplementary cost) before proceeding to your hotel in Kampala.

Day 2: KAMPALA – MURCHISON FALLS N. PARK (45km – 1hr)
Today you will depart early after breakfast to Murchison Falls National Park with lunch en-route. This afternoon you will hike to the top of the falls before crossing the Nile on a ferry.

Day 3: MURCHISON FALLS N. PARK
This morning there will be an early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for lunch in the afternoon enjoy a scenic boat trip to the base of the falls.

Day 4: MURCHISON FALLS N. PARK – KIBALE FOREST (325km – 5hrs)
After breakfast you will transfer to the Kibale Forest with lunch en route. This is a scenic day trip arriving at your lodge in the afternoon.

Day 5: KIBALE FOREST
After breakfast you will enjoy a trek searching for the chimps and other primates. You will return to the lodge for lunch and then there will be a guided walk in the Bogodi Swamp in the afternoon.

Day 6: KIBALE FOREST – QUEEN ELIZABETH N. PARK (60km – 1.5hr)
After breakfast you will transfer to the Queen Elizabeth National Park with a short game drive en route. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. After lunch there will be an afternoon game drive.

Day 7: QUEEN ELIZABETH N. PARK – KAZINGA CHANNEL – QUEEN ELIZABETH N. PARK (75km – 1.5hr)
After a morning game drive and lunch at the lodge you will spend the rest of the afternoon on the Kazinga Channel.

Day 8: QUEEN ELIZABETH N. PARK – MARAMAGAMBO FOREST – BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST (160km – 4hrs)
Today you will leave early and transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with a picnic lunch en route. You will also visit the Maramagambo Forest.

Day 9: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST
Following an early breakfast, you will depart for a gorilla trek returning to the resort in the late afternoon.

Following an early breakfast, you will depart for a gorilla trek returning to the resort in the late afternoon.

Day 11: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST – LAKE MBURO (270km – 6hrs)
This morning after an early breakfast you will depart for Lake Mburo with a game drive through the park en route to your camp.

Day 12: LAKE MBURO – DEPARTURE ENTEBBE (250km – 2.5hrs)
Today you will transfer back to Entebbe where you will be dropped at a hotel or the airport for your onward arrangements. Upon arrival into Entebbe, you may wish to include the optional visit to the Botanical Gardens and the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, both located in Entebbe (supplementary cost) before proceeding to your hotel in Entebbe or the airport. Earliest arrival is by 01:00 pm.
Passengers should bring only soft sided bags on safaris. All the passengers must have valid Identification Card/Passport with them for internal flights. Travellers’ cheques generally are not accepted in East Africa. US bank notes cannot be older than 2008 and must have the most current security markings (large portrait of the presidents). Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
